Security Deposit Policy

Security Deposit Policy:

Sunnyside Retreats requires a security deposit hold to confirm all reservations. Payment of this security deposit contracts your agreement to our security deposit policy. Our policy states the following, a security deposit of $250.00 will be authorized but not charged prior to all reservations made through Sunnyside Retreats or any booking channels used by Sunnyside Retreats.

Collection of this deposit is required prior to arrival and cannot be taken as cash or upon arrival. Inability to authorize this deposit will result in cancellation of your reservation. Sunnyside Retreats reserves the right to fully charge all reservations if unable to authorize this deposit. Return of deposit is processed by credit card the day of check out if no damages have been incurred during your stay. The guest is responsible for the amount stated but will not be charged unless damage is incurred. If damage is incurred, security deposit will be charged to the credit card processed. Please note that if damages are incurred, a surcharge may be placed on your card to the discretion of Sunnyside Retreats.

Depending on your preferred banking institution, this release may take 7 to 14 business days per the institution’s policies. Sunnyside Retreats is not responsible for overdraft fees associated with your debit or credit card.
