Coconut Grove has a long history as a progressive, open-minded, and artistic city. Since its beginnings in the late 19th century, Coconut Grove has drawn residents who were attracted to a warm, casual, and welcoming atmosphere. Thanks in part to its multi-cultural history and laid-back attitude, it has become a town known for its celebratory and creative lifestyle. Despite being annexed into the larger city of Miami, it has retained its own identity.

Vizcaya Museum & Gardens
The Vizcaya Museum & Gardens is an American villa that has all of the glamour of Europe with the tropical style of Miami.This park is right on the water front in Biscayne Bay. There are amazing views, surrounded by the tranquil breezes that come off the water. It is a stunning location where you can see a piece of history. With gardens that are breathtaking and that are always a great backdrop for photography, and with a cafe that you can enjoy on the grounds, you will spend hours surrounded by beauty. Vizcaya also hosts a number of special events throughout the year, including a Halloween extravaganza and a New Year’s Eve party that can make the last night of the year magical.

This is where Oktoberfest is hosted every year and where you can see Shakespeare in the Park. It is almost ten acres of land that is perfect for picnic or just relaxing after a long day of shopping. If you are into sports, there is also a baseball field, a basketball court, a tennis court, and a playground for children. The park is pet friendly, so bring your furry friends to enjoy the views, as well! Spend an afternoon basking in the tropical sun or playing in one of the courts. The museum is enclosed by gardens and perfect for Weddings and outdoor events. You will always find photographers and painters admiring the beauty within the museum & gardens.

Peacock Park
